4 Steps for Growing Through a Dark Night of the Soul

When something goes wrong in our lives, it's natural to look for someone or something to blame. We may feel angry, resentful, and even self-righteous when things don't go our way. But what if we could instead find the lessons hidden in these dark times? What if we could use them to grow into better versions of ourselves?

This blog post will explore the "Dark Night of the Soul" idea and how it can be a powerful opportunity for growth and healing. We'll also discuss a simple four-step method in how you can support yourself if you find yourself amid a dark night.

What to Expect…

What to expect during this time? It can be difficult, as we may feel broken and lost. However, it is also an opportunity for growth and healing. Trust that the situation is happening for a reason and that you are exactly where you need to be. Lean on your support system, and ask yourself how this situation can help you grow. 

It can be tough to see the silver lining when difficult times hit. It may seem like everything is happening for no reason, and you are stuck in a dark, never-ending cycle. 

During tough times, connecting with your angels and spirit guides can be helpful. These beings are compassionate and loving and want to help us heal and grow. Ask for their help in understanding what is happening and why. They may offer insights that you would never have thought of yourself. They can help you find the courage to face difficult truths and the strength to get through tough times. How to Prepare

If something falls apart in your life, it's a wake-up call. Be prepared by having some padding in place, like friends or a therapist, in case something happens. Also, remember that feelings are normal and okay during tough times. Don't judge them, just release them and get to a place of knowing this is here to help you. Ask how this is here to help you, and truly surrender to the answer. It may be all about you or only a little bit, but it will always be for you.

It is essential to take care of yourself during this time. This may include self-care activities like meditation, journaling, or talking to a friend or therapist.
