Hello loves, welcome to Living out love podcast Season Two. I'm calling this a new season because it's quite literally a new season.
And before I dig into that, I want to give you a little bit behind the scenes about me personally. I have a weird understanding with like, old crotchety men, that archetype some of my favorite all of my favorite movies are like, Grumpy Old Men, Space Cowboys, Secondhand Lions, you know, give me a Walter Matthau or a Clint Eastwood. Those are my those are my guys. And I've been learning a lot about my astrology lately, and I've been learning about I have a Capricorn Moon and the moon is the way that we feel, and Capricorn, some, some people describe Capricorn as being like the old man on the mountain. Capricorns also love systems and structure. And that's great. But there is a big part of me that relates who I am should move my microphone that relates to stubborn crotchety unforgiving, kind of harsh men. And I would never, I would never express, like the shadow side of that archetype by choice. But I have a fondness for it. And so what you should know about me, the takeaway of this whole thing is that I don't like change very much. And that voice that you might hear, you could hear in your mind, youngsters, like that sort of, sort of resentful, judgmental voice about people that are hip and up to date. I mean, have that a little bit. And I never, I'll never let that be my ending thought. But it is sometimes my first thought it's sometimes like my knee jerk patterning.
So when it came to this podcast, I had a very sound, thought-out idea. From day one, before I really started recording, but from the day that I thought I should do a podcast, I had a very sound idea of how that should go. And it should be every week, because that's the way that I like to consume podcasts. And because people should be able to rely on it if it's helping them. And I had all these, you know, reasons. And then that's just a it didn't work for me. But I was going to, I was going to just move on through the fact that it didn't work for me, was not that relevant. It took sign after sign after sign from the universe that I needed to be open to rethinking the way that I had envisioned the living out love podcast. So I had to put my little Capricorn moon on a shelf, and I had to tell that part of myself, you will get to reinvent it, like whatever it is, I'm holding, you're holding so dearly to your invention. And when I get clarity on what it is that it needs to be, you'll you'll get to come back and help me reinvent. So it's not like that voice has no role anymore, because it does, but it I needed to quiet it for a little bit. So anyway, title of this episode is a new season.
So I want to talk to you about what is the new season of Living Out Love Podcast? What is the new season of my dot love business? What is the new season for me, and what is potentially the new season for all of you. So that's what we're going to do. Let's start with the podcast. in what is now known as Season One of the podcasts, it was just me every week talking to you every week. And that was really helpful for me, it was important, it served its purpose. And we're gonna expand in season two, every other episode will be just me talking to you. And it will be very similar content, it will be a combination of leadership skills and spirituality, emotional intelligence and spirituality, personal development skills, and spirituality. Those are sort of some of the areas of my expertise. And so I like to combine those two things. That's mostly what I'll be talking about. And on those weeks, when it's not just me, you will either be getting an interview with a special guest or a behind the scenes of a reading. So for those of you that are on my email list a while back I sent an email and said, Hey, who wants a free 30 minute reading for the podcast? I have had lots of people say who would want to listen to somebody else's reading, which is a valid question. And here's what I can tell you. Anytime I do group readings, and people overhear what somebody else is experiencing. And this can be true, whether it's, you know, psychic information, or mediumship. Anytime I do group readings, people always reach out to me and say, so and so's reading helped me so much, I'm going through the same thing, or I went through that once, and it helped me see it differently. We always, always, always learn from each other's reading. That's number one. Number two, I've recorded these free readings with the intention of putting it on the podcast. So while I will be answering personal questions for people, there will very likely be some universal outcomes that we can all learn from, because Spirit knows what it's doing.
Okay, so I'm so excited. So Season Two of the podcast, every other episode, it's going to be me, once a month, there'll be an interview, I'm going to be bringing you lots of really wonderful people. And once a month, you'll get to go behind the scenes with me and listen to a reading, it's going to be so awesome, especially for those of you who have found this podcast, but have no idea what it's like to work with an intuitive. And you know, my process may not be everybody's process. But it's gonna be fun to listen and hear what it's like. And you'll also hear how different they can be because month to month, the readings are very different. So the other thing I want to say about season two, this is the start of seasons for the living out love podcast, my plan, and I'm not writing it in stone. My plan is to have the podcast from the spring equinox to winter, is it the very next what is it called? So when we have our winter, is it the equinox, I don't remember, whenever we have the big thing, the shortest day of the year, I'm going to take off. So when we really inter winter, between that and spring, I'm going to I'm going to take that time off. Because that's what we all should be doing. So the start of winter, the podcast will go away, and it will come back, typically sometime in March at the Spring Equinox. That's the current plan.
But you know, stay tuned. So that's Season Two of the podcast. And I'm so excited, I think it's going to be easier for me to produce, I think it's gonna be more fun for me to produce. And I think you're gonna get even more out of it than what you got out in season one. So thank you spirit for helping me evolve.
Okay, so I also want to share with you what I'm calling Season Two of my dot love business. I, between me and a really dear friend of mine over at flew tour creative between me and my friend, we pretty much did everything. picking colors of fonts for the branding, creating the website, the schedule, the offers the email, like I, we did that. And I didn't seek professional help. However, I knew I wanted to change some things this year, I knew I wanted to offer some new things, and it felt like the right time to start getting help. So I've hired some people to help me. And I'm going to update the logo and the colors. And that's that's not a super big deal, right? Anybody could update those at any time.
But what I'm really excited about is that I will be in the future changing platforms. So the real reason why this had to come about is I've been looking at the dot love membership, the monthly membership that I have, and I love it. I'm so proud of it. And it has not been user friendly. It has really irked me that people get so much value in the membership, but it's so hard to access that they're probably not getting the value. So I've been thinking thinking thinking, how can I make the membership better. The only way to do that was to leave the the website platform I was with and change website platforms. And so that's coming up you guys, I will be announcing that at some point in the future. Hopefully around April.
This is going to make the membership so much more impactful. For those of you that are in the membership, you know that the videos get sent out weekly, but if you need to search for a video, it's really hard to do. It's really hard to find the specific video that you need when Are you have a specific video in mind, or you just want to search for a general topic. So one of the new features is that it will be much more user friendly to access, the wisdom that comes through every week and the dollar membership. So I'm so excited. So I'm working on changing the platform. And all of that technology stuff, of course, takes time.
And in addition to that, this won't be effective until sometime I don't know when I'm going to change my offer with readings. I cannot believe I'm saying this out loud. I just it's sort of impulsive. But this year, I've been taking a lot of mediumship classes with the Arthur Findlay College in the UK, I've been taking them online. And one of the teachers said, you know, you really don't need more than a 30 minute reading, most readings can be done in 20 minutes. Now, she specifically was talking about mediumship. And I also offer, you know, psychic channeling, which is different. But I was thinking back to all of the readings that I've had. And I was thinking back to my own energy level. And my ability to give information that felt in integrity, that felt like the highest quality information that I could receive. And I noticed, you know, right around 45 minutes, I start to notice a difference or struggle, or I have to intentionally change my vibration in order to stay engaged. So whenever I switch over to the new platform, the date is TBD, I will no longer offer two different readings of 30 minutes and an hour, I will only offer 45 minute readings for one price point, I will still offer my 15 minute follow up call. So if you book a reading and after reading you have Oh, I forgot to ask this question, or could you clarify that I'll still offer the 15 Minute follow up call. But I'm no longer going to do a half hour or an hour reading. For time, I'm going to try 45 minutes and see what happens. So I'm really excited about that. I feel like I assumed I needed to do 30 minutes and an hour because that's what all the other psychics that I have been mentored by, that's what they do. And so that's what I decided to do. But you know, early on into doing readings, I kind of had this intuition of like 45 minutes is better for me. And then I throw it out the window. And really early on into readings, I would try doing 30 minute readings, and I had a hard time holding that boundaries, because 45 minutes just felt more appropriate. So I'm just gonna go with 45 minutes for a while and see what happens. Again, if you want to know about dates, get on the email list, if you really have been wanting specifically a half hour or specifically an hour reading them, please go book it now because I will not be making that, that accommodation in the future.
Okay, the other big change the next season of the dot love business is I'm going to be offering some new things, I've got some different ideas in the works. But essentially what has happened is I've always had the readings and I've always had the membership. And between those two things, you can get a fair amount of support. However, I've had lots of individual readings where it feels like something is unearthed some wound that somebody didn't know, they had some belief they didn't realize they had we will unearth something, and then the reading will end and it will be like okay, well, good luck healing that. And then they just go off. And I haven't had ongoing sources of support for people. So I'm in the process of creating some different ways of supporting people for longer, and it will be likely there will be like a coaching situation where I would work with somebody individually for around two months or so. Then I also have some courses in mind where we would meet as a small group and work on things collectively. collective work is so important when you are healing because being seen is so important when you're healing. So I'm just going to do some new things this year. And I really look forward to all of your feedback about that. The reason why I have felt so called to this is because of the feedback I've gotten previously and so I am trusting all of you that this is what you need, and we'll find out together and if it's not what you need then great, no harm done. So we've talked about the podcast, we talked about my business, podcast, we're going to expand, we're going to do new things. The business, I'm moving, I'm reorganizing, refining my readings, and I'm going to be doing new things.
Now, I just want to talk to you about in general, the seasons of life. And I think that it's a conversation that we we all need to have with ourselves at some point or with our family members, our friends. In general, and the Western society, we live in this, you know, 24/7, capitalism, every quarter supposed to be your best quarter, otherwise, the stock will tank, everything's available on Amazon doesn't matter if it's out of season doesn't matter if the food is out of season, we can eat out of season food. So we have gone from a species that would have had to live and die by the weather, to a species that can completely insulate itself and get anything and everything at any time. Which is it has its blessings, I'm not saying this is all a bad thing. What I want to call our attention to is that because it's such a such a free for all, really, it can be really hard to actually be in tune with what's happening in your immediate energy field. Is it hot outside? Is it winter outside what's happening with the people around you, even that, that change and technology has, it's hard for us to even understand how that's changed us. But the idea that we can connect with people on the other side of the world, at in a second, has a very different mental and emotional framework than only knowing the 100 150 people that live in your neighborhood, the 1000s of people that are in on your square mile. So we've evolved pretty quickly. And I think it's hard for us to even imagine that we used to live and die by the weather. And by the 150 people that were in our tribe, we've become so independent of people and of any one system because there's if you don't like, you know, Whole Foods, you go to HEB, et cetera, there's not any one supplier for anything. Well, that's a that's a generalization, but you know, my point, because we have so much. It's, it's like we've lost track of our own natural rhythms. And that's true. I would say in general, that's true for most people in Western society at large. I'm also a woman that has not hit menopause. And so I have a monthly cycle. And our society is not built around that at all our society is built around men who feel relatively the same hormonally every day, they have the same cycle, a 24 hour cycle, well, women's cycle is not 24 hours, it's roughly 28 days. And so there are some days of the month where women should be resting, there are some days of the month where it would be better for us to eat certain things and get more exercise and accomplish creative tasks or accomplish very practical, logical tasks. And I am really enameled with the idea of learning how to incorporate that into my life. I'm struggling with it. I've made very little progress. But I'm hoping that that's part of what is ahead of for me, in this new season of life. For me, I'm thinking this new season is I'm growing my business with more intention. And it's also in order to be a better whether that's a spiritual teacher or business owner. In order for me to start showing up differently, I have to start supporting myself differently. I don't think I can support myself any better until I get more in tune with what's really going on. Even when I look at my scheduling, I'm going well, I'm not taking into account any rest days at all, which you know, overlaps with the concept of a woman's cycle, but just in general season two.
Amy Hageman is going to learn how to rest what does that really mean and how to how do I do that? That's part of my upcoming season. Let's all affirm that right now. Those of us that need to learn how to rest. We'll learn how to rest this year I really would like to call that in. So that's just some food for thought. Are all of you about how would your life be different? If we didn't have, you know, the Amazons of the world if we didn't have the 24 hour grocery store that has global shipping where you can get any fruit any day? And perhaps even I hate to ask this question, because I live in Texas, but what would it be like to live? If we didn't have AC and heat? What would we be experiencing differently? The reason I think that's important is because we've lost our sense of groundedness to the earth. And when we're grounded to the earth, we're more inherently grounded to each other. It's the one thing that we all plug into. And it's the one thing we all have in common is the earth. So I just think that's interesting food for thought. How would we be different? And there's not not all of that's going to be a good thing. There's obviously some wonderful blessings to having, the technology that we have and the systems that we have. So I'm not trying to say, we should go back to not having electricity. I, I just want to sit in the question of what have we forgotten? As a species, we've evolved so fast, what have we forgotten? That might serve us to remember? Okay. So, for me, season two, season two of the podcast is also just for it's coinciding with me wanting to change up the way that I live my life, the way that I interact with this business and this podcast. And part of that, for me is going to be okay, I want to try to learn how to work with my cycle, I want to try to learn how to rest I want to eat seasonal food. I want to allow myself to actually trust what my body is telling me in a whole new way. I've I've made some great progress and the little progress that I've made, I can say that's a big one. That's totally worth it. The little bit, the every step you can make towards listening to your body's intuition of what you should eat, when you should rest when you should get up will serve you and so I want to dive into that this year. Okay, so that's my stuff. I do want to talk just for a minute about you all and what may be happening for you. First thing is this episode is airing Wednesday, March 22. Tomorrow is Thursday, March 23. That is the spring equinox. So quite literally, it's a new season. We're going into spring. And spring is beautiful, right? Flowers are blooming, it's wet. There's birds chirping. It's a beautiful time of year, there is a reason why everybody loves spring. So just welcome to spring new beginnings. I think of spring as just that goddess energy in bloom of a woman that knows how beautiful she is a man that feels his athleticism and his vision, his direction, like that confidence of just embodying who you are. I love that feeling. And I to me, I associate that feeling with spring. So I hope that you all can step into that as well where you are feeling that you're living out your highest version of yourself the fullest version of yourself. This day, whoever, whoever that is this day that you are stepping into that with ease, and that that spring energy just calls it out of you. It's like the flower that blooms that flower has always been capable of blooming but then the earth said now's the time. And the flower gets to its I hope that spring calls that highest self out of you and says welcome. We're ready. Okay, the other thing I want to talk about this happened earlier in March.
For those of you that are interested in astrology you already know I'm going to say some big things happened in March. One of the things I want to talk about is the planet of Saturn moving into Pisces, I'm not an astrologer, but I love astrology. So for those of you not interested in astrology, it'll be brief hang with me. What you need to know about Saturn is that Saturn is a slow moving planet. So it changes signs every like two and a half three years ish. And so anytime Saturn changes signs. It's a big deal, because it's saying the energy of the last two to three years. We're now shifting it to something else. Saturn also harkening back to my opening of this podcast talking about Capricorn, Saturn and Capricorn have a lot in common. Saturn is about work, the systems and structures, it's about doing the hard work. I heard one astrologer describe it, Steven Forrest, he described it as Saturn gives you the energy to go to the dentist, even though you don't like going to the dentist. So it motivates us to do the work. And if we're not that lucky, it forces us to do the work. So collectively, we're all experiencing a change in energy. Saturn was in one sign, and now it's in Pisces. Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac. And my understanding of Pisces energy is a lot of psychics have a lot of Pisces energy. So that's, that's one thing. It's very ethereal, very spiritual, it's very much about this sense of compassion for all life. So there's a collectivism to Pisces, I would say, if you wanted to look at the shadow side, or the dark side of that is a Pisces could be very ungrounded could be maybe not so much in reality. But the positive side of Pisces is it's looking at that spiritual connection. So I don't know what that's going to mean, collectively, I'm not going to do any predictions about what the next two to three years are going to look like in terms of what may change. But I know that it's calling us to do some spiritual work, spiritual work. And it's not lost on me that our election is like, kind of in the height of that Pisces energy, our next election is going to be what are the what's the work that we're going to do. So here comes Saturn with systems and structure. And then in that energy of Pisces of the collective and what is not seen, but everyone knows and feels. So it's going to be an interesting year. For all of us. It's definitely going to be an interesting year here at DOT love because of course, I'm doing lots of new things. And I'm attempting to really get out of my comfort zone, which, again, my inner my inner grumpy old man is resisting that, but I'm just gonna allow him to be grumpy about it. And I'm gonna move ahead. So I just want to say thank you so much for being here. I'm so excited Season Two of living out love is it's gonna be great. And I look forward to getting your feedback on what resonates what doesn't resonate. I want to know I'm here for you. I'm recording this podcast for you.
So please let me know what's helpful and what's not so that I can change accordingly. And good luck to all of us in this next season. I hope that it is fruitful and beautiful and illuminating in a way that serves your highest good and all of our highest goods. So thank you for being here. Next week. We will have our first interview episode so stay tuned. Bye loves!
